How to use the Student Overview in Manager

Accessing Student Overview & information displayed

  • Log in to Morrisby Manager
  • From the homepage, click ‘Students’ in the left-hand menu
  • This opens the overview page, showing all students linked to your account
  • View Student name, sign-up date, last login, Year group, tutor group, house, education level and Action plan status
  • You will also be able to view Careers and course preferences
  • SEN, EAL, and pupil premium status will also show if this was shared:
    • ⚠️ Amber triangle = EAL or Pupil Premium
    • E = Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
    • K = SEN support

Searching and Filtering

  • Use the search box to find a student by name
  • Use the filters to:
    • Filter by year group, tutor group, or custom groups
    • View by favourite careers, account type, profiling completion, and aspirations
  • Select ‘Clear All' to return to the full student list

Navigating Tabs

  • Move between tabs for additional data:
    • Assessment - progress on assessment and questionnaires
    • Activities - overview of all logged activity sessions
    • Meetings - overview of all logged meetings and meeting notes
    • Frameworks - Gatsby Benchmarks and Skills Builder
    • Higher - Subject references, Predicted grades, and Personal statement progress
    • Work Experience - tracking placements

Taking action on Student accounts

  • Select one or more students.
  • Click the ‘Actions’ button (top right) to:
    • Assign/remove/add to groups
    • Activate or deactivate profiling
    • Reset assessments or vocab tests
    • Lock/unlock results
    • Generate reports (e.g., select all>Actions>Generate Reports)
    • Download student data (e.g., face-to-face meeting records)
    • Send invite emails to new students
    • Send password reset emails
    • Create recovery codes
    • Email students directly
    • Add or import students
    • Delete or mark students as leavers (contact Morrisby Support if the option is not visible under Actions)
