Congratulations on choosing the Morrisby 2024 Posters as part of your school careers programme. You'll find the download links below at the end of this article.

We can’t wait to help raise the profile of careers throughout your school community.  These tips will help you ensure you create maximum impact.

Symbols – we’ve used some of the common ones you’ll see in the software, but for new teachers it’s helpful to let them know ahead.  I suggest emailing your whole staff to let them know – then everyone can appear knowledgeable when the students start asking questions.

Salary Data – comes from Lightcast and is correct as of May 2024.  We consider the 10th and 90th percentiles to provide the range of salaries for starters and experienced workers, so you will find job ads quoting other values too.

Key Skills – to see detail on the extent to which each of the Skills Builder categories are required for a particular career, log in and search for that job under My Choices/Careers.  Each bar ranges from level 1 through to 15 and the bold part of the bar shows the range of levels you would need to be successful in this career.  The data has been verified by Skills Builder Partnership.

For example, here are the skills levels required by a Cyber Security Officer.  You can see some roles need lower level speaking skills than others, but problem solving and aiming high are important for everyone working in this role.

Subject teachers – why not ask each teacher to read up on one of the featured careers and become an ‘expert’?  We’ve lots of ideas for including careers in the curriculum too – we’re updating your account to include over 100 new lessons and a library of other activities too.
